So your asking "Who are the Combine?"

The Combine are an Alien race that emerged shortly after the 1998 disaster in Black Mesa Research Facility.
After the Combine emerged that took over the world in 7 hours.
The world surrendered, and they began to build an empire consisting of technology 100's of years ahead of us and began to place
people in places known as cities.
They renamed all the cities/towns/villages in the world with a number.
The most famous city being known as City 17.
City 17 contained the Administrator of Black Mesa Research Facility that became the leader of the Combine.

Enough of the story line, look it up on Google if you want more info.
Rules are that the background cant be abstract or crazy, it has to have a communist kinda look in the background
or it can just be a black and grey gradient like my signature.
They can also include other pictures inside other then the ones I have given you.
Let's say you wanted to put a picture of Obama in your picture, so be it.

Well then thats why you resize them in photoshop
"These pictures arn't transparent!"
